Advisors to President Biden are reportedly becoming increasingly worried about his ability to keep up with the rigorous demands of his role, with concerns being raised over his age and energy levels.
According to sources close to the administration, Biden’s advisors are panicking over the fact that he finds it “difficult” to hold events during the mornings, nights, and weekends.
The 80-year-old president has long been a subject of speculation and scrutiny regarding his age and fitness for office, with many critics questioning whether he has the stamina to keep up with the demands of his job, as it appears that even his own team is worried about his ability to keep up with the pace.
The concerns over Biden’s age and fitness come at a critical time for the administration, as the president faces mounting pressure over a range of issues, including the ongoing crisis at the southern border, rising inflation, and the upcoming re-election bid. Not to mention the risk of nuclear war “steadily increasing” as tensions between the US and Russia escalate.
Despite White House officials saying they are amazed at Biden’s stamina, it’s difficult to schedule public or private events with the president in the morning, evening, or on weekends.
The vast majority of Biden’s public events happen on weekdays, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Critics of the Biden administration have argued that the concerns over the president’s age and energy levels are further evidence that he is not up to the task of leading the country.
They point to his frequent gaffes and lapses in memory as evidence that he is not fit for office. Just yesterday during the White House event: ‘Bring your kid to work day,’ Biden struggled to remember where one of his grandchildren lives, only for a young girl to fact-check him.
Despite the mounting concerns, Biden and his team have remained defiant, insisting that the president is more than capable of handling the demands of his job.
They argue that the president’s decades of experience in public service make him uniquely qualified for the role, and they are confident that he will rise to the challenge.
But, as the president continues to grapple with the myriad challenges facing the nation, the pressure will only continue to mount, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to keep up.
