Another twist in the investigation that will surprise you.

Justice Department investigators have come under scrutiny for alleged attempts to limit questioning related to President Biden in the investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax evasion case. Whistleblowers from the IRS have testified that officials from the Justice Department, FBI, and IRS interfered with the investigation and made decisions seemingly influenced by politics.

According to one whistleblower, Gary Shapley Jr., decisions throughout the investigation appeared to benefit Hunter Biden, with references made to his father, Joe Biden. Shapley cited text messages and emails obtained from Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, which were first reported by Fox News Digital prior to the 2020 presidential election.

In December 2020, when investigators were preparing to interview Biden’s business associate, Rob Walker, they intended to question him about an email referencing “Ten held by H for the big guy.” However, Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf objected to asking about the “big guy” and Joe Biden, stating that there was no specific criminality in that line of questioning. This decision raised concerns among FBI and IRS officials present during the interview.

The alleged interference also extended to the execution of search warrants. When the IRS prepared an affidavit for a search warrant on a storage unit containing Hunter Biden’s documents, AUSA Wolf objected and informed Hunter Biden’s defense counsel about the storage unit, potentially jeopardizing evidence collection.

These revelations come in the wake of Hunter Biden’s recent plea deal, where he will plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax. The whistleblower allegations cast doubt on the fairness and impartiality of the investigation, raising questions about whether all relevant information has been thoroughly examined.

The American people deserve a justice system that operates free from political interference and ensures equal treatment under the law. It is imperative that these allegations are thoroughly investigated, and if proven true, those responsible for obstructing justice are held accountable. Transparency, integrity, and adherence to the rule of law are fundamental to maintaining public trust in our institutions.
